Liam Neeson replaced Mel Gibson in The Hangover 2, taking Gibson’s cameo as a Bangkok tattoo artist and reportedly making Gibson “furious” in the process. But now Neeson, too, has been excised from the film, after Hangover director Todd Phillips decided the scene needed to be reshot and Neeson was no longer available. The role was consequently filled by Nick Cassavetes. So maybe Gibson has learned that not everything’s worth getting so worked up about, after all.
